This is my motherboard:

At minimum I want 4000mhz which is only one level higher but it never posts past it's stock speed. This is why I bought this memory, because it's already starting out very high and I wanted to push it much further but can't even get it to POST one level higher. Anyone have any ideas? I have an i7-7700K overclocked to 5ghz. I look forward to the replies!! Everything in my computer is liquid cooled except for the RAM and dedicated PhysX card, including the motherboard.

Try to set the voltage at 1.5V and Start at 20-20-20-40 Timings. Get MemTest stress it for erros. If it passes lower the timings (only round numbers like 18/16 etc....). It is normal at these high frequencies...

Alright, I've tried raising the timing before raising the frequency before and no POST. I'm not sure why. Maybe I'll go back at it once I get all of these new components into this beast and try again using much higher timings than before.
