Hey guys, I decided to mod my h70 as I have a kraken g10 bracket and the tubing is just not flexible enough to mount anywhere, does anyone know the most subtle way to secure the tubing onto the barbs and if i can remove the barbs from the radiator of an aio?

Black zip ties.

Barbs are soldered, so no.

would i even need to use something to secure the tube? or would it actually damage the tube? would it be okay if i used say a 1/4" tube (original size) and just kept it there

I would use the zip ties, just snug on the tubing.

Tube on barb without something to stiffen the connection is asking for trouble.

As the loop warms up, the plastic becomes more, well, plastic and will deform easier. The barbs are useless at that point as they rely on the tubing remaining stiff enough to not slide off. The zip ties will provide that extra protection against the plastic pulling off the barbs.
