How can I know if an ebay seller is not a scammer?

Okay this person isn't selling this card for $750, it's up for auction, and it's already at $870. It will probably get closer to that $1300 as it gets closer to the auction ending.

its not a buy now auction, it was a starting bid at 750$ and its gone up since. Its probably legit honestly.
