Netbook logo identification

Hello!

Yesterday I purchased myself a brand new Acer Aspire D255-13DGkk netbook. I noticed however the particular model I've purchased has no articles or mentions anywhere at all on the internet, no matter what browser, I can find nothing on it - and it doesn't help Acer's driver page just generalizes all of the different D255 models.

 

So I brushed that aside, but I have noticed that there is a particular logo on the box for this model of the D255, and it is the red/white shield situated at the end right of the logo showcase at the bottom:

I assumed that is was McAfee, but they've never had a variant of there logo which looks like that I do believe. If anyone knows what this feature is, then please do tell me!
