Upgrade Help and suggestions

My current specs 

 

CPU Type= AMD Athlon(tm) II X4 631 Quad-Core Processor

 

Video Card= Radeon HD 7850 Vram 2G 

 

Motherbord= MSI A553M-P33

 

RAM= 8GB DDR3

 

HDD= 1TB WD Black -500GB WD Green

I got this pc a little over a year ago as a gift and im looking to upgrade it and get some better performance in games i dont have lot of money 

for upgradding but i can take it one or 2 things at a time i was thinking of upgradding the cpu first but im not sure witch cpu would be a good replacement
