Hello!

I recently finished my new PC and I want to get into overclocking.

I have done a little research into system stability tests and plan on using AIDA64, Cinebench and Passmark for testing CPU stability and I plan on using Memtest86 (or Memtest64 I don't know which one to use) and Passmark for RAM testing.

Any advice on any other programs I could/should use to test stability and any overclocking tips are appreciated.

CPU - Ryzen 1600

RAM - Team - Vulcan DDR4 2400

Those are good ones for your CPU/RAM testing. For GPU just run Heaven Benchmark on loop for like an hour to get a good idea if its good and stable or not. If its not, Heaven will lock up and stop running as a result.

I don't plan on overclocking my GPU just yet but thank you for the advice!

When I OC'ed my i5 I ran IBT (Intel Burn Test) for a legit 30minutes and after that the system was rock solid and ran for 7 days straight 100% when I was rendering a scene. I'd say that that's a really good stability test.

If its called "Intel" i wouldnt think so, but a quick-google search should answer your question.

For CPU's you could use Prime95, but try ot find a good guide on how to stress-test your cpu for an hour. (I did stress-test my amd cpu and its stable on 3.6 ghz)
