working with display technology

is there a career to be had engineering, diagnosing, repairing, or designing displays? of course i am talking about LCDs, LEDs, OLEDs, etc. something along the lines of what tftcentral does, reviewing monitors

On the design/engineering and manufacture side of things I believe most of the big players are in the far East (so Japan, South Korea etc). If most of their R&D is out there then it would be challenging to get into. Still, check out the careers websites for companies like Samsung, LG etc and see what's on their and what sort of requirements they have.

Reviewing's different obviously but to do it properly you need some decent measuring kit.

can't find any details about working with displays in those outlets. i think you are right about the far east
