At work:

A laptop with an external monitor.

A monitor with only a chromecast.

At home:

A desktop with VPN to work and teamviewer installed.

If I use teamviewer at work to connect to my home desktop while VPN is connected to work network, I could cast my home PC to the monitor with chromecast at work right?

Then if I use Synergy to connect my work laptop with my home PC, It should work like a duo monitor setup right?

I'm getting crazy because my work laptop is a MacBook that has only 1 USB-C port. I don't know if one USB-C port would be able to have two monitors, a keyboard, and a mouse working at the same time even with a great docking station.

Okay nvm I think i'm crazy.

It might work, but there are many variables that can go wrong. First off, what sort of macbook do you have and does it have a thunderbolt 3 port for its type c? Second, I'm pretty sure to do this would take up a ton of wifi to be able to do this, so make sure that both wifis at home and at work are strong. Thirdly, the computers might not be able to handle this much load. to be able to do this will take up both a lot of ram and cpu usage. Also for the docking problem, below, there's a good macbook dock. I'm guessing you have a macbook air since that has one usb type c so this one will work for that, but there's another version for the pro that uses the type c and thunderbolt ports https://www.amazon.com/Purgo-Aluminum-Multi-Port-Adapter Charging/dp/B0741356ZC/ref=pd_sbs_147_5_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B0741356ZC&pd_rd_r=F7SXJA2MQNBC73YYGAKA&pd_rd_w=3wuCU&pd_rd_wg=2UahS&psc=1&refRID=F7SXJA2MQNBC73YYGAKA

Yes this is a crazy idea, but it might work or go terribly wrong

There would be a lot of latency if it did work. You’d have latency and quality issues from TeamViewer (ugh), Chromecasting, and more.

Main System: Phobos

AMD Ryzen 7 2700 (8C/16T), ASRock B450 Steel Legend, 16GB G.SKILL Aegis DDR4 3000MHz, AMD Radeon RX 570 4GB (XFX), 960GB Crucial M500, 2TB Seagate BarraCuda, Windows 10 Pro for Workstations/macOS Catalina

Secondary System: York

Intel Core i7-2600 (4C/8T), ASUS P8Z68-V/GEN3, 16GB GEIL Enhance Corsa DDR3 1600MHz, Zotac GeForce GTX 550 Ti 1GB, 240GB ADATA Ultimate SU650, Windows 10 Pro for Workstations

Older File Server: Yet to be named

Intel Pentium 4 HT (1C/2T), Intel D865GBF, 3GB DDR 400MHz, ATI Radeon HD 4650 1GB (HIS), 80GB WD Caviar, 320GB Hitachi Deskstar, Windows XP Pro SP3, Windows Server 2003 R2

I have the "MacBook". It doesn't have any suffix on the naming. It's just "MacBook". This is only USB 3.1 and not a thunderbolt. I knew there's a docking station that supports two external monitors, but most  of them would not support power pass through. This god damn MacBook charges through that UCB-C as well. Ugh... On top of that, I dont even know if the dock would work on my MacBook. No one seem to claim they've used it on the MacBook. Those who claimed it work used it on MacBook Pro.
