Android notifications and continuation on windows 10?

Is there any decent apps/programs out there that will allow me to see and possibly respond to notifications from my phone (Android 7.1)?

Also is there anything that may allow me to throw links/files from my phone onto my PC and basically continue where I left off?

I already have my phone on my desk most times, but it would nice to just see notifications pop up on my PC and deal with them without stopping and picking up the phone.

As for continuation, I often start typing or browsing on my commute home, then once there I like to sit at my PC and do stuff that is suited to a full windows based computer.

TIA

You can get the Cortana app to receive notifications from your device on your PC; it works surprisingly well.

If you want to use a "continue where I left off" feature on your phone, you will need to use Edge on both your PC and Android device, unfortunately.

I'll try the Cortana thing see how it works or doesn't IDK.

I'm not really after a continue where I left off, but more a copy X link or X file over to PC and then open it up in whatever app I like on PC.

I know I can use a file manager for files, and I do in certain cases, but that requires me to go through a process albeit an easy one. What I was hoping for was something similar to say casting youtube vids, where I hit a button select casting device and bam youtube video plays on my Xbox one almost right away except in my case it's links and files, not videos

Microsoft Apps and Edge let you send links to your PC to be opened in Edge. This is what I meant by "continue where I left off." Read more at https://blogs.windows.com/windowsexperience/2017/12/04/windows-10-tip-get-started-continue-pc-microsoft-edge-mobile-app/.

These links will always open in Edge on your PC unless you use the EdgeDeflector workaround.

Been using the Edge feature for a day or two now just to see what it was like

For casual browsing, like I do on the commute home it's perfect.

I'll have say an article I'm reading on the bus and when I get home I send it to my PC whereby I finish reading it.

My goto browser is Firefox but Edge is so bad for casual stuff or at least I haven't run into issues so far.

Still to take a look at Pushbullet though.
