Redownload it from the official source(https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/download)

a little while back, the "official file" was actually a virus, but if you redownload it to be safe, you will be fine

I've honestly heard nothing but positive reviews.

That being said installing software is about equivalent to breaking your collarbone to me in terms of pain caused, so i would never use it. Installing software AND having a running service, now that's like twisting the knife is a stab wound.

It's good for people who would otherwise click on all the ads, download all the useless crap, etc. But for an intelligent, savvy user who keeps their system as bare as possible, it's just added bloat.

Router: R3 2200G @ stock, 4GB DDR4 2400, what are cases, stock cooler

I don't have a problem...

It was also a 32bit version that was infected, so the 64bit version is fine.
