So I've been trying to look for a vibrant, kinda neon orange for a while now, sort of like Mayhem's pastel orange. However, all the reviews I see for similar products are it changing colors, gunking up, or separating. Can anyone recommend a good orange pastel that doesn't require me to replace it every 3-6 months due to color change?

That was for old Mayhems Pastels for the Red based colors like Orange and Red. They apparently have a new fluid that this does not happen with. After testing with Jayztwocents, they narrowed down the issue due to the heat of the loop being the issue to cause the color changes.

Can you link a video to the new results? I have checked the watercooling subreddit and other sources, all of whom have claimed that the orange in their loops has changed from a bright orange to some murky brown.

I've been running the same Mayhems Pastel Orange for around two years now. Been through a hardware upgrade or two. Hasn't changed a bit. Even after refills when swapping GPUs.

Loop was originally built around September 2015 (ish)

can you run me through your tubing composition and block, res and block composition if possible, cleaning method, and replacement cycle for the fluid? I want to make sure I get this down pat since I don't want to get the headache of an experience I hear about.

Tubing: Mayhems Ultra Clear Tubing (3/8 - 1/2) 10/13mm (soft PVC stuff, kinks easily :()

GPU Block #1: EK Nickel/Plexi 980 KPE Block

GPU Block #2: EK Nickel/Plexi 980 KPE Block

CPU Block: EK Nickel/Plexi X99 Block

Res/pump: EK X-RES 140 Revo D5

GPUs and CPUs are in parallel config.

Other bench hardware

GTX 480 #1: EK Copper/Acetel Block

GTX 480 #2: EK Copper/Acetel Block

Haven't actually done a full clean yet since radiator is pretty damn huge (36 meters of tubing total) Coolant is replaced/topped up whenever GPUs are swapped. Just dreading it tbh.

You can call it the "never do this" method if you like. Coolant hasn't actually been flushed in two years basically. But temps are still good and blocks aren't clogged so...eh.

that seems nice, I don't think regular pastel will have trouble with PETG hard tubing as it has no glycols, so I guess I'll leak test, run mayhem blitz for a day, and then put in the coolant and I should be fine then.
