hi @H20Burner

Sounds like that you're indeed missing the hotswap feature. Which operating system are you using? Windows 10,7 or something else? Checking device manager for any missing drivers will be a good start.

Windows 10, no drivers are missing so far.

Alright, Depending at BIOS there is sometimes an option to enable or disable hotswap for devices. Since when does the issue occure? You might want to check your BIOS for this setting.

Started last week. And no there is not a setting in the bios to enable hotswap or disable.

What kind of devices are we talking about? USB mouse, keyboard? phone? digital-camera? USB stick. Is the same behaviour with everything of the above?

Edit: also do you have other USB devices already plugged in?

Yes. I'm talking about mouse, keyboard, and mic. This was also happening with my audio jacks as well. I'm lasting on my monitors port since its the only one that works. Lots of weird. All usb devices are treated the same. No hotswap.
