Which cryptocurrency affects GPU prices more?

I’m talking about the crazy GPU pricing and shortages; are they mainly caused by Bitcoin mining, alt-coin mining (Ethereum, etc.), or is it a combination of both that’s responsible for this horse shite?

 

Edit: Basically, which cryptocurrency’s crash should I be praying for?

Correct me if I'm wrong but Ethereum might be a major contributor. https://www.coingecko.com/en/price_charts/ethereum/eur This chart shows Ethereum had a major spike in price around May of 2017.

Ethereum is important as it's the biggest cryptocurrency that can be mined with GPUs. But there are also a lot of other altcoins that matter - Zcash and Monero come to mind.

 

The good thing is these altcoins tend to roughly follow the same market trends. There was a spike in spring/early summer last year, and then another spike around Christmas.

Don’t think it matters which alt coin it is. 

No mines bitcoin with cards anyhow. 

Depends on the card which is gonna be mined proficiently.
