1080 Temp Issues

i recently put an EK 1080 FTW block on my EVGA FTW card and my temps are horrendous. Idle is fine about 35 degrees but as soon as the GPU core ramps up the temps spike 30c. under full load its hitting almost 100c. Anything will help, i have re-seated the GPU to the block 3 times now with the same result every time.

Well something aint right, sounds like something is stopping the block from seating on the GPU correctly, take it off and start again, check for any screws that shouldn't be there and see if your paste is spreading for evidence of contact. How are CPU temps?

Are you absolutely sure the waterblock is tightened down properly?

 

Also, I saw no mention of a loop in your post, are you running the waterblock without anything connected to it?
