Binned vs OC edition

So, from what I knew, binned versions are GPUs picked due to it's better overclocking capabilities above others. But I'm looking at the Asus Cerberus GTX 1050 Ti, there are two editions:

Advanced Binned

OC Edition

The OC edition has even higher clocks than the Advanced Binned one.. That kinda defeats the point of "advanced binned", or not?

Because they would rather let you OC yourself? Never understand why would people want a fancy mid-range card like the 1050ti, even less so on a 'cherry picked' one.

Cinebench R15 Single thread:168 Multi-thread: 833 

SuperPi (v1.5 from Techpowerup, PI value output) 16K: 0.100s 1M: 8.255s 32M: 7m 45.93s

It's not for me mate, I'm just always checking what is going on..

So the Binned edition will guaranteedly do more manual overclock than what the OC edition comes with?

It's a "fancy" card but it's not much more expensive than the "not fancy" ones, it's a great card for 1080p so it's not that bad of  card.. For some people it would be worth it to look better.

No. Sometimes OC edition can still get a good overclocker, but Binned version removes the possiblity of getting a crap overclocker.
