Surface 3 Audio Problems

Heys quick oner has anyone ever experienced on a surface or any windows device and red x next to the audio icon on the task bar with the words no audio devices installed I have searched the internet for a solution ran trouble shooters even tried to reinstall the realtek driver nothing is working it could just be that my surface will no longer play audio any help greatly appreciated

This ASUS gaming prebuilt computer at IBM were my mom works I sometimes use also experienced something like this, and I haven't been able to fix it and eventually gave up after some trouble shooting that went no were, its weird because it detects audio devices and the drivers and stuff still work but audio just doesn'tplay

yup checked device manager everything checks out fine its a shame cause its a good device and gets used everyday, maybe contact Microsoft and see if they reply to me not holding my breath though
