What should I get?

2SSD 120gbs in raid 0? Or just 1 250gb ssd. Im planning to get a samsung evo. I currently Have 2 HDD's. 1TB Black and 1TB Blue.

If you still need 240GB of ssd,then get it. If it's only for os,Just get 120gb. You'll be fine even with some other programs with it.:)

I doubt it'll be worth the extra money and reduced reliability. Everyone I've ever seen run SSDs in raid 0 were only doing so to brag about it.

 

Unless of course you can explain what you're doing that makes you think you need the extra performance. Just seems like the extra capacity would be better.

I will not question your undeniable logic.

When you add more drives you add more points of possible failure. If it is only raid 0 then losing 1 drive means losing ALL of the data.
