New use for old pc?

Just hoping for some suggestions of what I could do with older pc parts I have collecting dust

 

parts I have spare: 

I7 4790k + M/B

16GB of ram 

XFX r9 380

You could also strip it down, underclock the CPU and make it a server of some kind or HTPC.

Like Karath has suggested, selling it might be best - especially because of the high GPU and RAM prices at the moment. You might even profit on some parts depending on how long ago you bought the components.

 

You could also consider looking into crypto mining, even doing so while you wait to sell the parts. I'm not sure how profitable it would be on your system, but there are many online calculators and guides to figure that out.

Build a midrange gaming PC or sell the parts on eBay.
