Quieting refrigerator

Techicolors

so we just got the new fridge, filled it with the existing stuff from the old fridge. but i am noticing more noise than the old fridge. i am assuming it'll quiet down over time, but right now it's a bit terrifying when the motors kick in as well as the humming that kinda distracts me. any ideas to quiet it down?

it's a non-smart fridge so really no settings to change and whatnot apart from usual dials like changing freezer temp and humidity for the fruit drawer

After moving a fridge you're supposed to leave it off for around 24 hours so the fluids in the cooling system can settle.  If you didn't do that, it's going to be noisy indeed and that may or may not improve with use.

Also allow it to cool down to its normal temperature before gradually putting stuff in (unless the stuff was still cold, then it doesn't matter).
