Why does my PC "automatically overclock"

Hello, I've got a pretty old pc, but it still suits my needs, however I noticed something unusual with it.
The motherboard is Gigabyte G31M, having an intel e5200@2.5GHZ. I've been using OpenHardwareMonitor to look at my temps because I was heaving heat issues, and I've noticed that while I still didn't even touch the bios to overclock or do anything there with the settings, it seems to have jumped up to 3GHZ (automatically?) without me touching it. It clearly shows that my bus speeds are up from normal (I believe it's at 200 stock).Should I worry about this? I believe heat won't be an issue, as you can see I touch max 45°C on either core.

turboboost was introduced with lynfield . Core 2 based cpus like the e5200 do not have turbo boost technology and ONLY run at their base frequency.

I just looked it up and the e5200 doesn't have turboboost

That's what I would have said...but since it doesn't have that it seems weird to me

Is your bios set at stock ? You/the board might have set those clocks without you remembering/noticing?

Yes indeed, my bios is set to stock, as I said up there.
It is not as bad as 3GHZ but it still runs with .1ghz more than it's supposed to be.

Seems like the bclk is a little bit higher, looks like the cause. As for why it's higher... I'm not sure, maybe you OCed it in the bios or somrthing? Sometimes the bclk will jump a little by itself but usually it's only 1 or maybe 2 mhz and not the 8 you're observing.
