Depending on the pressure I tend to leave mine open when bleeding. Normally a bit of tilting or leaving it tilted gets mine out. 

 

My main rig has a breather so it’s always open technically.

Just wanted to update, I finally got the fans in and finished everything up.  I think it looks pretty sweet, nice blue and green Intel/Nvidia theme.  The water trickling sound eventually went away, and the liquid in the reservoir is about 3/4" lower, so I guess it was air in the tubing.  Temps have went down a bit also, but not a whole lot, like 2-3 C for the CPU and 1-2 C for the GPU.  Did a quick test, GPU hit s around 28-29 C and CPU hits around 42-43 C while playing Prey maxed out, so I'm definitely happy with the results.
