mac preview app

for some reason the Preview PDF app that comes with Mac OS doesn't resize itself to a larger window every time i open it. so it's always in a teeny window size that i have to always resize. i don't have to do this in any other app, they all 'remember' the last window size. is there a way to fix?

Have you tried holding down option while clicking the green button, if you have and it didn't work then you can always use the space bar to quick look the PDF which opens it into a decent size window.

interesting trick with the holding down green button. but isn't a solution sadly 

 

i could do a preview but i am viewing a long pdf
