new system, driver problem!

hey guys i've build a system for a friend of mine. he wanted to keep his old windows instalation on his new system. but now he has low fps in games ( 40 to 70). i was hoping that you guys know what it could be. maby old drivers? if so do you know a program that could delete old drivers?

To my understanding, you basically put the old drive in the new system or cloned the drive? If you did that, it would probably be a good idea to reinstall your drivers, as you assumed. I do remember a tool being mentioned a few times on here that removes and then installs the new version of the required drivers, but usually Windows does a pretty good job. You could look at something like Driver Booster if you don't want to go around and manually install all of your drivers.

@Septimus most of the new drivers are now intalled but i'm thinking that the old amd drivers are fucking up the system

Open up your device manager window and take a look through there and see if there's anything that's not actually in the system.

Alright, I'm not too knowledgeable in this realm but hopefully someone else can help. I can't think of a solution right now, but worse case scenario you can always reinstall the OS and that fixes issues almost 100% of the time. Good luck with finding a solution, sorry I couldn't be of much help.
