r7 1700 1 core problem

it's like that on EVERY game. i can't play overwatch on a decent 170fps, and absolutely not stream, fps is getting to 90-130.

2x8 3000mhz (2933 bios)

i'll post any information you want, just help me fix it

I think there's something in AMD WattMan or whatever that's called now that's causing this. 

 

Also, did you switch from another motherboard to Ryzen lately?

Are you running the latest bios? Many Ryzen issues are resolved by updating the bios

I switched my PC - sold my old i5 PC and bought this one, 100% new all its componants

So fresh Windows install happened?

 

I remember a while back I had simmilar issue, and even cleaning drivers with DDU and other stuff didn't help. Only thing that worked was to reinstall Windows. Still to this day I do not know what was actually wrong.

I'm asking because I don't know... does Overwatch utilize as many cores/threads as it can?  Does it do this in all games?

Loaded up Overwatch.  This is what it looks like for me during a match.  OP, I don't think you have an actual issue here. OW defintely doesn't need/utilize all the threads and none of yours are showing at 100% so no bottleneck.
