ill try that in a minuet, however i have experienced a different problem this time when i started my computer none of my usb devices were working, i have led's on my mouse and they wernt on and it wouldnt let me type so i knew it wernt getting power or something, i restarted the computer to no effect so i turned of and plugged the power until the led's on my liquid cooling went out, i then re plugged turned it on and it worked like normal, i am now thinking that it is my motherboard as i have have problems with the bios before as well.

this is my current motherboard

Everything you have described is sounding like a motherboard issue. I personally would try doing a "restart". By this I mean wipe and reinstall everything. Then only install (within reason) the things that you know were having issues and see if it still happens. If it does, then well it may be time to look for more hardware.

Cpu : AMD Ryzen 3 1200 (3.8Ghz), Motherboard : Gigabyte AB350 Gaming 3 - RAM : 8GB DDR4 2933 Team (Vulkan) memory, GPU : MSI GTX 980 4GB Case : Antec P50, Storage : 120GB Samsung SSD, 3TB WD Blue, PSU : 530w Thermaltake SPS-530MPC, Cooling : Artic freezer Pro 7, OS : Windows 10.

they you've been scammed lol if windows update service is disabled then you can't use the find driver feature

k back to topic uninstall that unknown device, about the X on your network icon that could be due to that log me in program you use but if it works then it shouldn't be a problem, if you know what the unknown device is just go to the manufacturer site and download drivers from there, update the usb drivers too

In the bottom right hand corner it says that your copy of Windows isn't genuine.

I don't believe this is something to kill yourself over, however!

Yeah agreed sounds like motherboard or motherboard driver issues.  Might be power supply too.

My dead HDD says that and my copy is genuine. In my case that seemed to happened because of corruption. But yeah maybe he got scammed which is not pretty.

It's more the combination of that notice with the fact he bought it from eBay.
