hello guy, so if have the following "problem" with my mobo :

So yesterday I downloaded corsair link because it looked like a rather interesting piece of software.

So I open the program and then I saw those temperatures on my mobo.

What are those temps?

Cpu? Northbridge?

I tried to find info about it on the internet, but I didn't find anything, not on forums, not on the msi website and absolutely nowhere.

I hope you can help me to find out where those temps come from.

Mobo: MSI P45 Neo2-FR

I recommend you use HWMonitor for this kind of thing. It will give you a lot more detail about the many temperature sensors that are in your system. The two that you see in corsair link are most likely the VRM heatsink and the Chipset, It depends on the motherboard, but they could also just be elsewhere on your board, You would have to check for your specific motherboard. I find the motherboard sensors to not be particularly useful besides the VRM temperatures, depends what you want to measure I suppose. They are mostly just for your fan curve.

Well because of your suggestion, I downloaded HWMonitor and it names those temps TMPIN 0 and TMPIN 1.

Does this make it more clear?
