Galaxy A5 2017

Hey everyone, I wanna know if the international version of the A5 2017 (SM-A520F) would work in Uruguay, bc I'm interested in buying it from Amazon Spain since a friend is living there and in a few weeks is coming to visit us.

Some people say it wouldn't but other say it would, so I want a definitive answer please!

• 2G GSM - 1800MHZ
• 3G HSDPA - 2100MHZ
•  4G LTE - 1700-2100MHZ

What I'm most worried about is if a SIM card from Uruguay would work on the phone

Both A520F single and dual sim models

Unless the carrier you're with follows the idiotic North American practice of carrier-locked devices, you should be fine with the A5

Or if you know the law there requires all phones sold to be unlocked (I dont know I'm not from Uruguay or anywhere in South America)
