That looks pretty good, although I would step down to a B350 board and save a bit.

its a good build if you like and feel like you will use the features of the motherboard its a good build. if you wanna save some $$ going with a cheaper motherboard can save u money and you won't really notice it all that much. Otherwise, i like the build

main system build --> i7-7700K (at 5.0 ghz), MSI Z270 SLI Motherboard, corsair vengeance lpx 8gb ddr4 2666mhz,  costume liquid cooling loop with 360 mm radiator on CPU, GTX 1080 gigabyte windforce OC, 1TB WD drive, 128 gb samsung nvme m.2, EVGA 850 watt semi modular power supply, CM storm stryker case (ya not ideal for costume loop), VIOTEK GN34C 34 inch curved monitor <----

Spoiler

In my opinion, the on-board sound doesn't vary much by board. If you really need higher quality sound, you can get a sound card or a dac/amp. I haven't had any sound problems with the on-board audio on my motherboard(AB350-Pro4).

I just thought it has better overclock abilities but the RGB and the PCIe armor is just more money wasting..

changed the motherboard but should i get a cpu cooler or is the stock cooler already good?

you can do a moderate overclock with the stock but if you are looking to really get a good overclock go for an aftermarket cooler the stock is good for stock or slight overclocks. It is honestly a decent stock cooler. most people recommend just to use that. You aren't getting too much more performance for the extra money. but if you really wanna push the CPU, go for an aftermarket cooler

Do you get better overclocks with an x370 board?

it honestly comes down to the number of power phases on mobo. more is better.

Asus boards are pretty high quality. I don't see a problem with going B350 unless you're going to be doing some crazy overclocking that's gonna damage the motherboard VRMs. Looks like a good build to me

Do you think the RGB Ram is a bit over the top for 20 euro's more?

Depends on how much you care about aesthetic. For only 20 EUR more, I would go for it.

This is another build i might go for.. just the case i have but a better cpu..
PCPP: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/BZb8dX

Personally i think this is better but i never looked at other builds so..

In terms of gaming only, it is better. The Ryzen 5 1600 has 6 more processing threads than the Core i5-8600K, and the AM4 platform will be around a lot longer than Z370. In terms of future upgrades, Ryzen would be the way to go.

Not really gonna be upgrading maybe the GPU and it is only for gaming... i think this is the way to go for me.. :)
