I’m a very Apple person. I love their software and hardware, and I was looking into buying the 15” MacBook Pro, with the lowest processor(Intel Core i7-7700HQ, which isn’t that bad), a Radeon Pro 560 4GB and a 1TB SSD. I don’t mind dongle life.

But even as an iSheep, I have to admit something: that the best GPU in a MacBook you can currently get isn’t very good. It’s the Radeon Pro 560 4GB. It’s an AMD card, and I like Nvidia cards better than AMD cards because they usually perform better. But the last time a MacBook had an Nvidia card in it was in 2014, and that’s a GeForce GT 750M 2GB. The first time I saw “Radeon Pro 560”, I thought that it was going to be all right, as long as it’s a good performer; except it wasn’t.

I have another brand I love; Razer. And they have pretty much the perfect product for this situation; the Razer Blade 2017. It’s a thin and light laptop with hardware I can basically replace the MacBook Pro 15” with: an Intel Core i7-7700HQ, 16GB of DDR4-2400 RAM(current MacBook Pro 15” has 16GB of LPDDR3-2133 RAM), and a GeForce GTX 1060 6GB in it. I don’t mind the display because it’s a good panel, and I’d rather have a graphics card 2x better in terms of performance than have an inch or so bigger display. But it comes with Windows 10. My old laptop which broke had it, and I hated it. So, I decided that I would hackintosh the Razer Blade, and otherwise, the MacBook Pro is going to be my next machine. I’d still have to sometimes use Windows for games and stuff though, but macOS will be my main operating system.

I’ve never hackintoshed before. But in the past couple of weeks, I’ve been going through hackintosh guides. I want everything to work fine on that machine as it were a MacBook, and update with little to no problems. However, the guides are saying that some things won’t work.

tonymacx86-[GUIDE] Razer Blade 2017 says that WiFi and Bluetooth, Dedicated GPU, Multi-touch Trackpad and Thunderbolt Hotplug isn’t working. But I’d like to make WiFi and Bluetooth work, even if I have to replace the Wi-Fi card. I want the Trackpad be Multi-touch because I’ll probably use a lot of gestures with it. And I definitely want to be able to use the graphics card and switch between integrated graphics and the dedicated GPU.

If there’s a way to, there are some things I would like to get to work in macOS. As of now, I don’t have a use for Thunderbolt Hotplug or USB-C yet, but I probably will in the future. And Chroma backlighting in macOS would also be nice, though a white backlight is enough. Also, I would like to be able to use the touchscreen in macOS.

If you can help me, please do. Thanks!
