Hello,

I plan on using a 1950x thread ripper with window's server 2016 and from looking around on Google it seem they is issues. From what I have read IOMMU does not function well and need to be turned off. My plan is to run game with remotefx in virtual machine so I was wondering will the issue with IOMMU not working effect me ?

remote fx doesnt use iommu at all, so your fine. your not passing the gpu to the vm, windows is making a virtual gpu and passing the calls to the gpu.

Thanks mate really appreciate the quick and helpful response I can now sleep :)

Been getting really paranoid that i spent a lot of money for the games to not work in my virtual machine with remotefx on the x399 taich, 1950x thread ripper.

Be aware that VAC-enabled games will not work (at least in VAC servers) because VAC hates VMs. Source: Personal experience. You don't get banned, just kicked.
