If you have a extra power supply, test it. There is a possibility of your GPU overloading the power supply or sending WAY too much voltage to it.

i’ve tested it with two psu’s still won’t post

i’ve taken the mobo out into a second case to test it so i’m sure there are no shorts, how can i test if it’s damaged/broken ?

Static electricity killed your mobo, you prob changed gpu on the carpet with wool socks and shirt on.

I doubt that. That hardly ever happens anymore. Motherboards aren't as sensitive to static electricity as they used to be. Of course still be careful, but it's extremely unlikely that you'll kill a mobo that way nowadays.

I leaning towards the GPU overloading the PSU and killing it.

Post your system specs and we'll know more.

Also, describe the behavior in a little more detail. Are you getting any lights or fans spinning up from the mobo at all for example or is it just completely dead?
