L3 CACHE ERROR

Hey Guys,

 

 i have a dual AMD opteron 6376, as per the specifications it has a 16MB L3 cache each. In ubuntu the lscpu and lstopo both show the L3 cache as  24MB (6144kb*4 numa nodes). Also the BIOS show that the L3 cache is 32MB. i tried both 14 and 17 versions and the error is in both of them. Am i missing something or thats totally absurb. i am new to ubuntu so help me out please.

each should have 16MB of cache.

can you show the output of:

 

cat /proc/cpuinfo

 

I believe it's just lscpu acting weird.

This is the screen i get. The whole 32 processors have pretty much the same info. Also attached is the lstopo, if thats of any use.
