Tf are "Long DIMMs"

I really want over 69fps in MS paint and Linus always says more RAM+RGB = Glorious Frames... So as I was looking through listing after listing trying to find ddr3 that wasn't too pricey, I came across a couple of companies claiming to have "Long DIMMS." What are these? Are they just "Not sodimms" or does it have something to do with their ultra-low profile(ness). These ram sticks are very small and I am wondering if that makes very much of a difference, or whether it really matters.

No such thing at "Long-dimms" Probably just a translation error or someone naming something they didn't know what it was called.

 

DDR3 Dimm sizes are:

 

DDR3 (normal full length dimms)

DDR3 SODIMM (Half length dimms generally laptop ram)
