Ryzen Ridge bios update without cpu

Hi, so I've just bought the new 2200g and a MSI A320M PRO-VD PLUS from amazon. I don't know much about updating the bios, but I think I need to do it while an older cpu is installed - which I don't have. Do I need to borrow an old cpu just to update it? If so, would a tech shop do it for me, or even msi? Thanks.

Local tech stores should be doing that for a little cost for example: one of the stores i wanna buy the ryzen 5 2400g for in my country, i can buy a bios update with it for 9$ more
