Sounds like it. Warranty is only 1 year so... :/ 

 

Probably the display is bad, you could try replacing the display yourself or by going to a repair shop. A replacement display would cost around $150.

I may have to consider that. It's funny since it's still usable. It can be difficult to see the words sometimes. A screen shot doesn't show any issues. So it's like the blue is on top of the screen since I can still see colors normally under the blue.

If screenshots are fine it's definitely a display issue. I wonder what's causing it though... Controller went bad or something? That's an odd thing go happen...

It is a odd issue yes. Ifixit should have a repair guide I'd hope. These newer ish phones make it so difficult to open at times.

Just make sure to buy some adhesive too (3M 2mm adhesive works well for me)
