Hi I'm trying to build a new gaming PC and I need some help. I so far have in mind the i5 8600k with the Asus maximus 10 board, g.skill 16gb rgb 3000 mhz ram, Corsair air cooler, Corsair air 540 case, Corsair m650x power supply, and I'm not sure on the graphics card. Wether to go to Nvidia or AMD. I'm willing to spend $2000-$2500 on the PC and if anybody has any better ideas on ram or motherboards. I'd appreciate it. Some games I wanna run at at least 1080p on high or higher is Skyrim, overwatch, far cry, Warframe, crysis. (I already own the games just couldn't really play them before). Thanks guys.

The best run of the mill gamer would probably want a card similar in performance to a GTX 1070 or RX 580. If you plan to do heavy 1440p or 1080p high refresh in those games then Vega 64+ (haha I know) and 1070ti+ would probably be your best choice for the next 2-3 years.

Daily Driver: Redmi Book Pro 14 - Core Ultra 7 155H | 32GB/1TB

Primary Desktop: NCase M1 - Ryzen 7 7800X3D/RX 6950XT | 32GB/2TB

Travel PC: Fractal Terra - Ryzen 7 5800X/RTX 3060 Ti | 16GB/1TB

I have too many computers. List here.

You in the USA ?

Also do you need a monitor ?

Not really the best time to be building a new pc though, as prices are pretty inflated (Ram and GPU).
