There actually is a way to make a .bat file that "unlocks" the old photo viewer but after trying it I actually went back to Photos. Somehow, photo viewer was the slower and glitchier of the two.

I think that you can download old and new Windows Photo software on the Windows 10 Store.

I think this is the tutorial I used, there is another one where you download and run a file but I wanted to make the changes myself to be on the safe side.
