Grounding power cable

I just opened the power plug (UK) that came with my speaker set and noticed that it doesn't have a ground wire.

I'm trying to solve an issue I'm facing with humming and buzzing coming from the speakers and was just wondering if changing the cable and adding a ground wire would eliminate it.
