HDR or shaders?

Hi,

 

quick question: is HDR worth the extra cash or do shaders / sweetfx profiles get close enough? Anyone tried it?

Thanks for the link. But I think hdr is much better supported on tv than monitors. I am a sucker for sweetfx profiles but am just wondering if it nearly as good as real hdr. Great thing though: these profiles work on almost all games.
