I recently started learning 2D and 3D Design for Gaming, and found that my Laptop is not able to render a low poly Animation.
I need to Build a PC for high poly rendering.
But thanks to Miners i can't.

A single gtx 1080 ti is way more expensive as compared to base price.

Can you guys help me find a 1080 or 1080ti at base price or around base price.

I need to build a PC ASAP.

I'm way more behind as compared to my curriculum/syllabus.
I also need a full PC parts as i'm making it for rendering and animation Purpose.
My budget is 2000$ to 2500$.

Used market is your best option, but you likely won't be able to get near 1080Ti performance unless your local listings look mine and people sell Titan X Pascals(2016 model) for $750.

If your workload can make better use of multiple GPUs, I would recommend a 980Ti SLI.

If you have $2000 why not just use a 1950X? Or do you 100% need a powerful GPU?

What program are you using?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

6 core 8th gen i7, 16GB DDR4 and a 1080, under $2k.

Get another 16GB of RAM and it's good to go.

I haven't lost my mind, it's backed up on tape somewhere.

i'm will use Maya, ZBrush, 3DS Max, Mudbox, Unity, Unreal.

Well double check if those can use workstation cards, because an 8GB RX 5100 is actually in stock and at MSRP, Otherwise I would suggest you live with a lower end something or used something until GPU prices settle or next gen GPUs come out.

If those programs can make use of Open CL look into the 16GB Vega FE if it's ever on sale again, feel like VRAM is important in general for 3D applications?

But you probably want to start with a high end CPU in any event, you could also go E-ATX and eventually get 4 GPUs easily with threadripper's 64 PCI-e Lanes, or lots of NVME.

I left storage out. RAM pricing also sucks right now, and PSUs are going up in price as well.
