I recently bought a lenovo thinkpad edge e430 off ebay for $119 used for college. i needed a good laptop that can run Testout certification lab sims http://www.testout.com/. It came with a 320 GB HDD and 4GB memory which is reasonable. I want to start my first upgrade with the storage and i am on a budget.My current drive only fills up to 56.2 GB out of 320 GB. My question is, is a 120GB SSD to small i dont need anything bigger than that?

That depends how much cheaper it is then some alternatives. It would honestly be fine, but if there's something much better for a bit more, then I would get that instead.

I'd pay the bit extra to get the SU800, although it's up to you. Both will feel very snappy compared to an HDD.
