Electroneum pool miner doesnt connect

Got miner from here

Whenever I click "Start mining", it says "binding thread 7 to cpu 7" quickly then "retrying in 10 seconds" for ten seconds, then an error box comes up and says "There was an error connecting to the specified pool. Please check your settings and try again." I have tried many pools and none work. Does anybody know why this is happening or have pool suggestions that might work?
