That is fair, any recommended brands? Current monitor would be a TV from back in 2007 and not in a good way. Also you brought up second monitors so I thought I should ask anyway. From pure specs alone, do you think this rig planning could handle streaming and gaming simultaneously?

AOC/BenQ/ASUS/Dell/Acer

Rig would probably be able to, maybe not on more multithreaded games.

I'm not really that knowledgeable on monitors...

Maybe @PCGuy_5960 @herman mcpootis @Daniel Z. can help you...

So my current build is as follows, and I am still wondering if this is a potent gaming rig but also a decent streaming rig wrapped all into one.

Spending too much on PSU. Even a 650W would be fine since you are only buying one GPU. And unless electricity is crazy expensive in your area I'd get RMx/HX/HXi.

Maybe so but I was thinking for the expandability of adding a second graphics card down the road for SLI or for purely x.264 gpu encoding. (Yes I know it can be and usually is awful.)

Seems pretty good, but I would rather go 1440x3440. Other than that, it's a good 4k panel.

In truth, I want to go for the 3440x1440 144hz but the problem inherint in that is that there aren't really IPS options for that. Meanwhile even if I could drive the 4k monitor, it would still be under the high refresh rate that I would think would be best for a G-Sync monitor. So it seems like a bit of a waste as opposed to say the following monitor;

ASUS ROG Strix XG27VQ: https://www.amazon.com/Strix-XG27VQ-Curved-Gaming-Monitor/dp/B074PJJWHB

But in saying that, it's still more of trying to get a monitor that fits the build for the time being until the Acer Predator x35 releases or flops. (Then I can do this whole song and dance over again for just monitors.)

@Daniel Z. If I want to drive a 4k Monitor at lets say high to peak performance, Would splurging on the next tier up from the 1080 Ti ( the Titan Xp), or would saving the 500 and putting that to a second 1080 Ti in SLI be better?

So it has come to my attention that I have little to no knowledge on monitors and as this is an integral part of decided components in the build I need not only assistance but also those who are knowledgeable. As far as I can tell these are the things for the build I am hoping to accomplish in terms of monitors;

Spoiler

1. A Dual or Triple monitor setup, preferably using a vesa mount. Bonus if the Vesa mount is a 100mm x 100mm mounting bracket

2. One or two screens running at or near 144hz for top end gaming with a target resolution of 1080p to 3440 x 1440. Bonus marks if the monitor is G-Sync capable. S-Rank if it also covers at least 72% of the NTSC Color spectrum

3. 1 monitor running a display resolution of 4k (3840 x 2160) for the purposes of content creation, preferably an IPS display with maximum Adobe RGB and NTSC color coverage. (Because it's for content creation, point 2 is unecessary, however point 1 is incredibly important.

4. A screen measurement of 27"-35" (Preferred). This is due to a large 60 inch desk, and the desire for a triple curved monitor setup.

Beyond all of that, the monitors need to work. Due to the way they function in color spaces from what little research I've been able to do, TN panels are best avoided nowadays.

Please I need feedback on the possibility of this happening now or in the future from those who understand the monitor and display technology side of the industry better than I do at this present time. But I will have many questions.

Also changing the tags of the topic due to a lack of responses.
