Theres really only a 1~2 degree difference between brands of TIM and it doesn't necessarily mean that the more expensive ones perform better just as most things in life are

I personally use MX-4 but that was just what was available to me at the cheapest price at that time

Some TIMs have to cure, some never harden, some are conductive but work better. Just wanted to hear peoples opinions.

I currently use MX-4. Easy use, good price and performance. Nothing special, but one can't go wrong with it.

TIM consultants Quantum, same performance as MX 3 but half the price.

Less than $5 for a syringe with shipping included(In the US), I usually get 3 or 4 when I order because no matter how many you buy they charge the same amount for shipping.

I swear to Noctua NT-H1 paste. It is right in the top 5 as far as temperature goes, but when you factor in the amount you get and the price for it, as well as the consistency when applying it, how looooong it lasts and the fact it reaches peak performance immediately after application, it is by far the best overall paste you can use, this is fact, trust me, I've got this down to science.

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.

Noctua NT-H1. Doesn't have to cure. Big syringes with 15 applications for as much as a tiny tube of arctic silver 5 (dunno if North America gets Noctua as cheap as EU though) - it lasts forever and the consistency is super easy to work with. It's also non-conductive and still manages to be right up there with the best in terms of thermal performance.
