Hi there,

one of my Dell P2415Q monitors doesn't show a picture anymore or at least only does it very rarely.

It switches on fine and i get the windwos sound that it's detected and it even shows up it the display settings. Curiously it only shows up with a max resolution of 1920x1080 while it should have a max resolution of 3840x2160.

What I've tried so far:

- Turned it off and on again. Didn't work

- Unplugged the power cable at the back and plugged it back in. Didn't work

- Unplugged and plugged back the Displayport cable running to my GPU. Didn't work

- Switched through the different Inputs on the monitor. Then the Montir that didn't show anything before shows a picture and the first one doesn't. I guess of of the DP Outputs on my GPU is broken?

- Switched the cables that connect both monitors to their own DP Output on my GPU. Didn't work

- Updated my GPU Drivers. Didn't work

So far im almost out of ideas. The last one I have is that one of the GPU Outputs could be broken but i have no Idea how to make sure it is that before i send it in for an RMA.

Any help is welcome

The monitor's HDMI port is limited to 4K 30 Hz, and there are no HDMI to DisplayPort adapters capable of 4K 60 Hz either.

What do you mean by this?

Have you tried using a different DisplayPort cable?
