Hi, I have a GTX 1070, i5 7600k & 8gb single RAM stick. I am playing Overwatch on a 144hz monitor at EPIC settings. My fps is dropping below 144hz in big fights and my CPU is at 100%. Will getting dual channel ram (2x8gb) help me stay above 144fps as I have heard people say it makes a big difference.

Thanks in advance

overclock CPU

100% CPU = CPU bottleneck

it doesn't because you have a dGPU, it'll only help when you're using the iGPU (because it's RAM would be shared with the system ram)

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

CPU has already been overclocked to 4.7GHz

and aslo, are you sure about that? I have seen benchmarks where dual channel has significantly increased fps when using a dGPU
