SSD Upgrade for Alienware 15"

Hi

Couldn't find on dell US site.

I was wondering is this alienware have compatibility with samsung PCIe SSD suck the "Samsung 960 EVO Series - M.2 Internal SSD (MZ-V6E500BW)". Since is cheaper to buy a SSD and install after than by purchasing on the dell website. Also if someone who's reading this topic have this notebook or this serie can tell if there is 2 or 3 stock of SSD on the back?

PSS: I don't understand so much on hardware as much as i would like too

its standard m.2 so itll fit, idk if itll use nvme(they advertise a pcie ssd as an add on so one would presume an nvme drive would work.

 

now for thr bit youre probably not going to read, you do not need a nvme ssd (assuming you have no use other than a boot drive) as it will not perform much better in real world tasks than a sata drive, youll probably find you can get more capacity for the same price.

So there is others SSD there i can use to improve the capacity? instead of the nvme ssd?

Because i want to buy the alienware for 2 main reasons...1st in game capacity and 2nd is to work with softwares and etc. Meaning that i need more a ssd rather than a hd or even a hdd. 

Because on the final upgrade i want to have a 256GB SSD for boot mostly + 500GB SSD for working on softwares and possibly gaming.

nvme is expensive ccompared to sata m.2 ssds but not noticeably faster...

 

for example, you could get a 525 gb crucial mx300 for a similar price to a 250 gb 960 pro
