I bought my computer pre-built from microcenter, I still regret this, and it came an awesome set up. It has:

Gigabyte Technologies GA-Z97X-Gaming GT Motherboard

Intel Core i7 4790K

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980Ti

Corsair H110i Liquid Cooling

When I got it and starting running it under load I noticed it got really hot. I was new to the gaming computer world and thought this was normal. After having it a few years I downloaded some monitoring software to see what my temperatures were at and researched where they should be. I noticed that my CPU was fluctuating constantly between 45C and 55o C which for a liquid cooled computer shouldn't be happening. When under load it hurt to see my poor CPU reach temps of a constant 90C-100C. I came to the conclusion that my water cooler had not been working and when I installed corsair link V4 I also noticed that it didn't even register that it exists to the computer itself. I have no experience in computer building but would like to know more on how to fix these issues on my own. Please let me know what I can do to get this working so my CPU doesn't have to die anymore than it already has.

Thank You!

is the pump connected? it should be powered via SATA connector, and the pump wire should be connected to the CPUFAN header on your motherboard, check the fans too

Prolly check that the usb dongle is actually connect. Assuming you haven’t put a new os on since then. That’s all you need aside from ensuring the fans are connected to the pump if you aren’t using the mobo’s software to control it.
