Good day, i hope everyone is doing well? i would really like to know if my system would be compatible with a PCIe NVMe setup as a boot able drive. i am clueless to these new drives and would like to find out more. I am  currently running a ASUS FORMULA-Z Motherboard, AMD FX8350 CPU, 32 GB DDR3 1600, GTX 1070 and SAMSUNG EVO SSD, powered by a CORSAIR AX 760 Modular PSU.

i would be interested in this drive if its possible

I think it would be really awesome if Linus could do a video about this. or even a series of video's since i am sure this could be divided into many categories to bring the entirety together? maybe the installation, setup, bios updates/flashing. etc? idk just a thought maybe... please hahaha

i am sure a lot of people with older boards would like to upgrade their drives but aren't sure if they can or not and are to afraid to ask in fear of judgement, which prevents them from buying this new technology.

this discussion is not whether or not i should, rather whether i could.

I also disagree with you. there is absolutely no need to upgrade anything just for the sake of bragging rights. since my FX8350 is an 8-core 4Ghz processor my system still runs all the latest games, buttery smooth at Ultra Settings, while still running multiple applications in the background, I never experience any sort of lag or stutter while doing anything on my system. Until either my gaming or productivity becomes hindered in any way by any of my components, there is no reason other than bragging rights to upgrade your system.

my SSD needs to be upgraded in size. in my county the price difference between a SSD and a PCIe NVMe is around $50. if i am buying a new drive i would rather spend more for something better.  but i am not the type of person to buy something just for the sake of buying.
