Unable to change boot drive

Go to solution Solved by ProjectBox153,

You’ll save a lot of time and headache by reinstalling Windows.

I got my pc but my hdd is second hand, it is Western Digital, and unknown which color.

now i purchased a new hdd (i need storage and I don't have the money for ssd), I now got WDC Blue 1 TB.

After reviewing a lot of tutorials, I cloned my boot drive into my new HDD, however as I change the boot priority in the BIOS, the bios is not reading my new HDD as the boot drive. I tried clearing CMOS and removing the old hard drive, but it seems the mobo cant boot from the drive.

I have no idea what to do now

I am thinking about that too since my PC is about 2 weeks old. However, I'd like to successfully clone a drive and use as a boot drive. It is fun to succesfully do those things lol
